Jaipur: TiE Rajasthan is hosting the 5th edition of its flagship event ‘TiE SMASH UP’ on 5th-6th November 2019 at Jaipur with theme ‘MAVERICK’ that celebrates entrepreneurial journeys of startup founders who had had the courage to think unconventionally. Smash Up envisages fueling the gen-next of entrepreneurs through investment opportunities, mentoring, networking and learning.
TiE Smash Up is being organised to promote Rajasthan as an emerging startup ecosystem. Increasingly there is a change in industrial landscape with global innovations and disruptions and TiE through this initiative is helping the local startup community to adopt these changes. The event provides early stage startup founders with an opportunity to pitch their business idea to prominent investors invited from across the country. Startups also get to interact with and listen to the startup stories of successful founders representing different sectors and stages of business. The two day event will feature activities like Deep Dating with Investors, Maverick Speaker Talks, Mentoring Sessions, Smasher Pitches and Award and Crazy Talk.
Notably, TiE Smash Up has so far supported 850+ aspiring entrepreneurs, hosted 33 sessions with more than 95 speakers and connected 35+ investor networks to curated startups. The event expects gathering of 250+ entrepreneurs this year.

The event will start with 1 on 1 Startup Deep Dating with Investors on 5th November wherein 25 selected startups will meet 14 investors. The startups selected for the investor pitch session have disruptive ideas in sectors including E-Commerce, Fintech, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, E-learning, Energy, Agritech, Waste Management, Textiles, Education and Healthcare.
Noted startup founders & entrepreneurs like Sumit Jain, Founder, Opentalk; Manish Kelshikar, CEO, BagForEver; Anup Patil, CEO, Intangles Lab; Anna Roy, Senior Advisor, NITI Aayog; Vineet Rao, Co Founder & CEO, Deal Share; Kovid Chugh, Director – Startups, Grant Thornton India; Rajesh Dembla, Ex Just Dial; Nikunj Sanghi, Chairman, Automotive Skill Development Council; Aditya Arora, CEO, Faad Network Private Limited will encourage the young minds by sharing their entrepreneurial journeys and views on startup ecosystem.
